WOVEN, weaving with our stories
The Woven Writing Retreat is an exploration of the stories that shape our lives-- especially those stories that we, as women, tend to suppress and silence.
Through embodiment, writing practice, authentic relating and ritual, we will explore practices for consciously 'weaving with' stories, empowering our voices and embodied expression.
This is for women only as we will explore stories that are unique to women's lived experience.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
Connecting to the wisdom of your body and soul
Transformation of traumatic stories through embodied emotional alchemy
Experience of your authentic voice and expression and build the confidence to share with other women
Tools for weaving with your stories in your day to day life
You do not have to be an experienced writer. Although this retreat is designed for those who have or are interested in creating writing practice.
Limited spaces available.
Please bring a notebook and pen, snacks, water bottle, and comfortable clothes including layers as we will be outside for a part of the day.
You will also need to bring an item for the alter that we will be building together. This item will represent the story that you are weaving with. More instructions will be sent upon registration.
